I am currently a painting student at Edinburgh College of Art. I had the oppertunity of second year entry and I have never looked back since. Here is my space where I create my work, I am very fortunate with my studio space and the new people I have met, whom I see as an inspiration also. In the next couple of months I shall post current work and other various project work, which you are very welcome to comment on.

Aesthetics

One of the main branches of philosophy, how it physically looks and connects with the idea and the meaning itself.

Beauty

Art and beauty are never considered to work together until aesthetics. This is an individual experience due to taste, beauty and judgment.

Sublime

Solitary experience, perfect and something that is beautiful.

Expression

Communicate feelings, emotions, exploring thoughts and ideas.

Significant Form

The relationship and combination of line, shape and colour to evoke emotion and the overall aesthetic.

Imitation

To copy and imitate your own version.

Sight/Site

Tonight was the opening/closing of our site/sight exhibition, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Thank you to everybody who came. The compliments and positive feedback from friends and various other visitors about the college itself highlighted how lucky we are with our spaces and facilities.
