Is the quality of greatness, whether physical, maoral,intellectual, aesthetic, spiritual or artistic. The term especially refers to a greatness with which nothing else can be compared and which is beyond all possibility of calculation , measurment or imitation. The greatness is often used when referring to nature and its vastness.
Romantic artists during the 19th century used the epic of nature as an expression of the sublime.
